Dominik Czechowski is currently the assistant curator at the Hayward Gallery in London. Polish-born He held two exhibitions in 1988 in Poland, and he had held many exhibitions worldwide In He also held an independent project along with interiors with director and cinematographer Masha Godovannaya. One of his recent projects solo exhibition of Artists Ana Mendieta: Traces Sun Xun.
Dominik discussed his curatorial projects and art collaborations as part of the two of the UK’s leading arts institutions.
His area of interest and research focuses on discursive curatorial practices and politically engaged visual strategies with a particular emphasis on visual culture. Dominik told us that curators are the ones who manage an exhibition from setting it up with visual strategies to the relation to visual of culture, galleries, and artist. He is the middleman between the Artists and the audience.
